Alan starred in the award-winning play ‘Penetrator’, performed at the Royal Court and Traverse Theatre. A keen live actor, Alan has also appeared in the theatre production ‘Take a Chance on Me.’
Alan performed alongside Rhona Cameron when he toured as her support act during her 2000 UK-wide tour.
Alan’s Edinburgh Festival play, ‘Jeffrey Dahmer is Unwell,’ became a ‘cult success’ in 1995, garnering rave reviews across the board. (Well, excluding The Guardian.)
One of Alan’s first ever TV appearances was alongside Steve Coogan in 1994, in BBC2’s ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You, With Alan Partridge.’
