Andi Osho: Career Highlights
Offstage, Andi is a highly accomplished actor, writer, playwright and novelist, with acting credits including Casualty, Footballers Wives: Extra Time, Doctors, and Death in Paradise. Andi has also appeared in many live theatre performances, including Dael Orlandersmith’s Yellowman and as the titular role in a 2005 production of Medea at the Barons Court Theatre.
A keen wordsmith, Andi was also a founding member of Vowel Movement, a London writing group, and wrote the comedy show CSI: Nigeria for BBC 3. Andi published her first novel, Asking for a Friend, in 2021.
More recently, Andi has appeared in a recurring role in two of the UK’s most watched television shows, Line of Duty (as Gail Vella) and Sex Education (as Nicky Bowman). Andi also appeared in the Emmy-and-BAFTA-award-winning TV series I May Destroy You.
