Andrew Lawrence Comedian: Career Highlights
Andrew has been a long-time favourite at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, and performed a show every year from 2006 to 2015. His 2006 debut, How to Butcher your Loved Ones, was nominated for a Dave’s Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer, and his 2007 set titled Social Leprosy For Beginners & Improvers was nominated for an If Comedy award.
Andrew has been featured on many comedy TV shows in the UK, including Michael McIntyre’s Comedy Roadshow, Dave’s One Night Stand, and John Bishop’s Only Joking.
Andrew has also received a number of accolades and awards for his stand-up performances, including winning York Comedy Festival’s New Act of the Year, the BBC’s New Act of the Year, and Amused Moose Starsearch, all of which were won in 2004.
