Best UK Live Stand Up Award winner

British stand up comedian Gavin Webster made his comedy debut at the Barley Mow pub in Gateshead. He has since performed thousands of shows, from Aberdeen to Abu Dhabi, Manchester to Melbourne and Hartlepool to Hong Kong.

His TV appearances include Never Mind the Buzzcocks (BBC Two), The Stand Up Show (BBC One), Take the Mike (ITV), The Eleven O’Clock Show (Channel 4) and Live at The Comedy Store (Comedy Central).

He has taken several solo shows to the Edinburgh Festival, including All Young People are Cunts, which was positively reviewed by the British Comedy Guide. He also won the award for Best UK Live Stand Up, commonly known as “The Comedians’ Comedian” award.
