A presenter, comedian, writer, and broadcaster, there’s little that Ian Stone can’t do. Working as a stand-up since 1991, Ian has been ranked as one of the top 10 stand-ups in the UK by The Independent, and described as “a cross between Tony Hancock and Frankie Howard” by critics.

Career highlights
Working as a professional stand-up since 1991, Ian has performed in comedy clubs all over the UK – and the world. From performances in Australia to South Africa, Ian was also the first UK comedian to perform a stand-up comedy show in Moscow. He first garnered critical acclaim after his first controversial Edinburgh show in 1996, and has been delighting crowds and critics alike ever since.
A regular on the small screen, Ian has appeared as a guest on the top UK comedy panel shows, including BBC2’s Never Mind The Buzzcocks, BBC1’s The Stand-Up Show, ITV’s Saturday Live and Good Stuff, as well as Channel 4’s The 11 O’clock Show. He also made an appearance in the second series of ITV2’s The Katy Brand Show, and BBC3’s Most Annoying People of 2010.
As gifted and talented at writing comedy as he is performing it, Ian has written for some of our favourite UK comedy shows, including BBC1’s The Omid Djalili Show, ITV’s The Sketch Show, and BBC1’s Alistair McGowan’s Big Impression.
