When studying theatre at the University of Salford, Jamali participated in 2014’s Chortle Student Comedy Awards, and took home the top prize.
A regular fixture on some of the UK’s top panel shows, Jamali makes regular appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks, and came 4th in season 11 of Channel 4’s Taskmaster. He was also featured as a guest on Frankie Boyle’s New World Order, and more recently as a guest stand-up on James Corden’s stateside show, The Late Late Show.
Aside from comedy, Jamali is keenly interested in politics, and in 2016 he presented a well-received documentary series with media company VICE, tracking fringe and extremist political movements in the UK and abroad.
