Shaparak Khorsandi

Shaparak Khorsandi is a British-Iranian comedian and writer, celebrated for her razor-sharp stand-up and bright, curious storytelling.

She is a favourite at UK festivals and clubs, with sell out shows at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, Latitude and Cheltenham Literature Festival. She has toured extensively in Europe, North America and Australia.

Her television appearances include Live at the Apollo (BBC One), Have I Got News For You (BBC One), QI (BBC Two), 8 Out of 10 Cats (Channel 4) and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here (ITV). She has also appeared on Mock the Week (BBC Two) and The Graham Norton Show (BBC One).
