Controversial story teller

Travis Jay is a creative and intelligent stand up comedian, with a reputation as an entertaining, sometimes controversial, story teller. A Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year nominee, he began his career on the black comedy circuit.

Since winning the Jumpoff TV Comedy competition, he has performed in many prestigious venues, including The Barbican, The Hackney Empire, the Edinburgh Festival and internationally in Paris, Amsterdam and Dubai.

Travis’ performance to a sold-out crowd at The London Palladium theatre (as part of the U Got Jokes comedy show) received particularly high acclaim. He also performed alongside Dave Chappelle in the filmed production, Dave Chappelle and Friends, and has since supported Chappelle on his London tour dates.
