Esther Manito: Career highlights
Aside from being a fiercely funny stand-up comedian, Esther Manito is also a writer and actor,, with credits including Mark Watson Talks A Bit About Life, The Stand Up Sketch Show, and Yesterday, Today & the Day Before.
Esther already has three hit Edinburgh Comedy Festival shows under belt: Crusade (2022) and #NotAllMen (2019, 2021), both of which tackled notions of feminism and everyday sexism, and won her glowing reviews from audiences and critics alike.
Esther has made appearances at the Women in Comedy Festival, Latitude Festival, Greater Manchester Fringe, and both Cambridge and Oxford comedy festivals.

Whether it’s taking the stage in Dubai or performing at a comedy club in Camden, Esther is frequently on the move! Esther’s 2023 scheduled appearances include HowTheLightGetsIn in Hay-on-Wye, and the Wells Comedy Festival, both of which are in May 2023.
Self-titled “Essex Arab Girl Comedian”, Esther Manito also hosts her own podcast, “Ghastly Women”, with her friend and fellow comic Lily. The pair discuss everything from Gwenyth Paltrow to the scours of everyday sexism – all from a comedic angle, of course.
